The Tula free to grow carrier versus the Little Frog carrier.
Let's say first of all that both baby carriers are more than fine carriers, both are ergonomic and meet our strict approval requirements for our assortment. The Tula free to grow baby carrier and the Little Frog baby carrier both have their properties, and we'll take a closer look at them here.
The biggest difference is the material used for the baby carrier. The Tula free to grow is made of a canvas/cotton and the Little Frog carrying bag is made of woven baby carrier fabric. The Tula fabric has a higher density and thinner yarn with many more threads per cm2, the woven baby sling fabric of Little Frog is thicker yarn, fewer threads per cm2 and therefore has a less high density, which sounds complicated, but that's not what it should be. Rest assured, both are super strong. However, the Little Frog is more flexible and forms more around your child through the weaving technique and wires etc. So you can say that the Little Frog is also a bit lighter, because of the lower density in the fabric.
Grow with your child.
Furthermore, both baby carriers are adjustable in width, the Tula is adjustable in 3 positions and works with press studs on the hip strap. The Little Frog is infinitely adjustable and works with velcro on the hip strap. The narrowest position of the Tula free to grow is about the same as the narrowest position of the Little Frog carrying bag, the widest positions are also quite similar, but the Tula has 1 position in between and the Little Frog you can freely set between the minimum and maximum position where you want it.
Fine adjustment of the top of the baby carrier.
Both baby carriers are also adjustable at the top of the back, at the neck of your child. The Little Frog can be fine-tuned in 2 ways, the Tula in 1 way. Both baby carriers can be shortened by tightening the buckles on the front of the shoulder straps, so 1 on the left and 1 on the right. When you put on these buckles, the back panel is shortened by a harmonic effect of the fabric. With the Little Frog you can also adjust the width of the fabric at the top, from left to right is an elastic hidden which can be put on and secured by a slipknot, this narrows the Little Frog baby carrier a little further at the neck. This is not possible with De Tula.
The sleeping cap.
Both baby carriers have a sleeping cap, in the Tula free to grow this sleeping cap is removable by press studs, in the Little Frog baby carrier the sleeping cap is attached to the baby carrier and you can not remove it completely. You can roll up both caps.
The waist strap.
Both baby carriers have a sturdy padded waistband, the waistband of the Little Frog is about 150 cm long and the waistband of the Tula free to grow about 140 cm. They both have a sturdy safety buckle. The Tula waist belt is a lot firmer than Little Frog's, but they are both sturdy and give a lot of support. The Tula waistband has a pocket for keys on it, this does not have the Little Frog waistband.
The shoulder straps.
Both the Tula free to grow and the Little Frog carrier have padded shoulder straps. The shoulder straps on the Little Frog are a little narrower or have a slightly less massive feel than those on the Tula free to grow. With the Little Frog you might be able to cross the shoulder straps on your back, because you can click the buckles and attach them in the opposite direction. This is not possible with the Tula. Both baby carriers have an extra buckle between both shoulder straps so that the shoulder straps remain securely in place. When carrying on your stomach, click it between your shoulder blades, and when carrying on your back, click it firmly over your chest.
